Ah, Lunch :-)

Starving! For some reason, the breakfast through snack-2 time is when I just can't seem to get enough food. Tomorrow I'm bringing cucumbers with me to help me get through that time. Lunch today... half cup of lentils, 2 cups steamed asparagus, 4 oz grilled chicken breast, and salsa (salsa is free on my diet). Though I tried to savor my food, it still disappeared waaaay too fast, lol! I'm a little late getting my lunch pic up (lunch was at 1), but my only consolation in how quickly my food vanished is that at 3pm (one hour from now) I can eat again. I've learned (hard lesson learned) that if I eat after 3 for a 5:30 workout, I'm screwed. Lol. The tummy no-likey. Before 3, and I'm starving through my workout... also not good. 3pm seems to be my afternoon sweet spot.

I've also noticed that during the day, if I go longer than 2 hours between meals, I go a step beyond famished. Like can't-think-too-hungry-famished. Once I hit my 3pm snack, then 5:30 workout, then 7pm dinner I'm solid. Then I have that last shake at about 9:30pm and I'm done. Why can I go so long between Snack 2 and Dinner... I have no idea. I've even tried eating earlier in the day, but that just bumps up my other meal times. I don't know why this is, maybe we just chalk it up to "I'm weird".  :-)

Ok, now I'm down to 50 minutes.

  1. I'm weird too that way.
    When I'm eating, I feel like "Man, I'm eating ALL the time." But about 30 minutes later, I ask "When can I eat again??" HAH.
