OMG. Double Cardio Plus Lifting - Day ONE.

The title says it all. I am whooped. HIIT this morning on the stairmaster, rush to work, rush through the day, hit the 3pm run-out-of-carbs-fog, 4:30pm legs, followed by 40 minutes of steady-state cardio on the elliptical. Crawl home to nuke dinner (5 oz Swai and 1 cup steamed green beans). Bill put the Chicken Loaf in the oven when I went to do cardio, then we just had to heat up the mashed sweet potatoes and dinner was ready. About halfway through dinner I hit the wall. Did I have enough energy to finish my food (that I so desperately need)? Oy! I finished.

An hour and half later, my protein ice cream is going, with a batch in the fridge for Shiloh (my 17 yo daughter wanted mint chip, so I mixed it up for her). Once it's ready, I dread the climb back down, then back up the stairs. Next house WILL be a single level, lol. I'm really, really looking forward to my ice cream though, so I'll dredge up the energy from somewhere.

The next two weeks I have 3 days of double cardio. When we hit 6 weeks out, I'll go to 5 days. Ouch. After my workout tonight, Tab and I went over my food, and we joked about my 2 oz of baked sweet potato at lunch. It's literally two bites. Almost doesn't seem worth it, but man-oh-man, every gram of carbs is precious these days.

Next workout is tomorrow at 6:30-7:30am at the studio, followed by 30 min HIIT & 10 min steady back at my gym. Hopefully I will be more organized in the morning and won't be late to work. Gonna have to seriously rock-n-roll though. This puts me back home at 8:30, and haha, I have to leave for work 20 min later. After work, I've got a 40 minute steady-state cardio session after Tab's Ab's class, then clean up and head to the bowling alley. It's crazy, but I love it. I also love that it's temporary, rofl! 8 weeks!!

LOL! Even my dog knows I'm beat. She just jumped up on the bed next to me and nuzzled my neck then laid down at my feet. All 70 lbs of her.

Ok. I'm going to go crawl downstairs for my ice cream. Might sleep on the stairs tonight. Kidding. Sort of.

LPM - I have no clue either, LOL!
TIRED! Tweaking the playlists today - need more oomph at the 10 and 20 minute marks, and need more chill from 30-40.

  5. Awesome (and funny) post! I know how much you are enjoying those two bites of sweet potatoes! It's the little things when it comes to carbs. I hope your ice cream was delicious and that you made it to your bed.

You are doing awesome! Keep pushin'! Like you said, it's only temporary! You can do ANYTHING for 2 months!
