Today's food and workouts...


Today is the third this week of my double-cardio days, it's also the 2nd of those 3 that included a full workout in addition to the cardio. Upper body was the game this morning - dips, skullcrushers, hand-to-elbow-pushup-thingys, then 21's - oy! Then you toss in that last set where you do your required amount, then the weights get dropped & you do more - OMG. Brutal. In the best way, of course. With my arms hanging heavy, I drove from the studio to the gym for my first cardio of the day. I did 40 min steady-state on the stairmaster. Tonight after work, I'll go back for another 40 minute session.


I tell ya, there's nothing like that moment when you can actually feel your blood sugar bottom out. And when you're standing 3 feet in the air on a running stairmaster when it happens... even more fun, lol! I just had to move my mind into my music and shut everything else out, including the cold-clammy skin. I was very glad to get home and grab a Protein Muffin.


Here's today's food, and yeah, it's supposed to be date night, but I don't have room in my calories for it. :-(    Serious bummer.


Clean Eating Cooler - Chelle's food for today - Figure Competition Diet


Breakfast -  3 Zucchini Protein Muffin.
Snack: Protein shake w/1/4 cup raspberries
Lunch - 3 oz chicken breast with 1 cup
steamed asparagus, 2 oz baked sweet potato.
Snack -  1 Chicken Loaf (see recipe page), 14 raw almonds
Dinner -  5 oz baked Swai, Salad (spinach, lettuce with lemon juice)
Pre-bed Snack -
Protein Ice Cream.
