Food for Today...

Remember my post yesterday, where I talked about dialing it back and going easy in the gym? Well, the hubby read it, then said, "Umm, honey? Can I ask you a question?"  Sure. "Sooooo, if 9 times in the gym is extreme, exactly what is 6 times?"

Huh. Ummm. Hmmmmm.  Damnit! It seemed perfectly reasonable to me - 3 cardio, 3 classes. That doesn't seem like too much, does it? I guess my "normal" is still "extreme".  So, with a nod to the hubby (and the still aching knee) I will make that 2 classes, and 2 or 3 cardio. Happy now, Bill?  LOL!

Moving onto food... here's today's cooler contents

(not pictured) post cardio snack: small banana and chocolate-orange cake bite
Breakfast: oatmeal with protein powder, cinnamon, NuttZo, and a small grapefruit
Snack 1: 2 chocolate-orange cake bites and an apple
Lunch: 4 oz grilled chicken breast, 1.5 cup steamed cauliflower, half cup brown rice
Snack 2: mini chicken loaves/muffins and strawberries.

After work, Bethany and I are doing homecoming shopping, then dinner at home will be leftovers. The tacos last night were incredible! I'll be posting the recipe momentarily :-)

I also wanted to share some music info with you... Ya'll know I'm HUGE on the music playlists for working out, well someone on twitter (wish I could remember who!) turned me onto DJ Rolemodel. His stuff rocks! So fun! I was listening to the Spring 2011 mix this morning on the treadmill and loved it! Check him out! :-D
