It's Friday! Update and NuttZo news!

Today flew by! Can't believe it's 9pm! I started with 45 minutes of my steady-state cardio accompanied by my now traditional food porn & list making. Home, starving, I gobbled up a small banana, then realized I needed protein, too.  What to do? Hmmmmm.... how about...

Greek Protein Pudding

  • 1/2 serving of Champion  Nutrition's UltraMet Low Carb chocolate protein powder (it comes in a packet, so half a packet)
  • 1/3 cup plain fat free Chobani greek yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp Chai tea
Mix well in a bowl, and enjoy.
Holy protein treat nirvana! Yum! It was soooo good! I had made a cup of Chai tea to mix into my coffee (don't knock it until you try it, lol), so I just added a spoon of that and man-oh-man was that little pudding mix tasty!

Off to work, breakfast was my oatmeal w/protein powder, NuttZo, and cinnamon with half a grapefruit, then snack 1 was my protein pudding with 1/2 cup of blackberries. Then my day got crazy. Tons of print media generated, a dying then dead printer, frantic emails, a barrage of pdf creations, a late windshield replacement tech, a replaced windshield (the soundtrack for this portion of my day would be the William Tell Overture, lol) and then I was off to meet Tab at Fashion Square for girl-time.

Having missed lunch, we were both ready to hit up the Nordstrom Cafe - one word... pizza. Oh yes. It was awesome. Truly awesome! Thin crispy crust with olive oil, 3 types of cheese, and a bunch of veggies. Now that we were free to resume our mall-ritual (meaning I was no longer on competition diet, lol), we trekked over to Godiva where the angels sang as we entered the sacred place. From there, we wandered, tried on, discarded or purchased, and eventually made our way to the final stop in our routine... Sephora. We played with the makeup, and at one point I had more eye-shadow on my hand than all the makeup on my face! And then it was time to head home. Home to date night! Wooooo!

I quickly changed then Bill and I went to our favorite, Blue Adobe. Much awesome mexican food later, a fully stuffed couple returned home. :-) Now I'm catching up on email, blogs, mourning my sodium-swelled feet,  and excited for tomorrow... my day will start with Tab's total body conditioning class, then homecoming dress shopping with Bethany, then in the evening Bill and I are attending Musclemania to cheer on Chelsea (Git It Girl)! One of the trainers at my gym (Mountainside Fitness) is also competing in Figure. It's a totally different setup than the OCB show I did - there's no prejudging, just the competition. I'm super pumped for Chelsea and can't wait to see her hit the stage! Woohoo!

Another very cool piece of news for you... I contacted Nuttzo, and they graciously agreed to offer us a discount code! It'll be a one-day sale just for us :-)  25% off internet purchase of their super-yummy products!  I think our day will be next friday, I just need to get confirmation from them, then on that morning I will post the discount code here on the blog and when you make a purchase from them, just enter the code and you get 25% off! Wootwoot! :-)  Why friday? Two reasons... first, it's actually my highest readership day of the week (monday is second, in case you were wondering, lol), and second reason... it's the day after payday and I want more Nuttzo! ROFL! :-D

Truly though, you guys know I don't push or sell or maneuver anyone into buying products - I don't endorse or get kickbacks or free stuff for pushing it onto you. I buy products I believe in and will often share information with you about those products - again, because I believe in the product/company, not because I get anything from them for it. I don't.  I don't "review" products, either, fyi.

Anyway, if you'd like to learn more about NuttZo - the products and the company, please visit their site at http://gonuttzo.com/.  But don't buy it yet! Wait until we have our discount code! LOL! :-)  I'll keep you posted on it!

G'nite!!
