We eat a lot of chicken, don't we? I mean, A LOT of chicken! Well, here's an easy way to spice it up a bit - and save time by bulk cooking! Plus, with only 4 ingredients, it's a cinch to put together! Once it's done, you'll have lots of tasty chicken to do with as you please... put it on a salad, in a low-carb wrap, over a baked potato, in a sandwich, stuffed in a roasted chili, or eat it as it is! With so many different kinds of salsa available, you can make this taste any way you like! Tons of options!
EASY Chicken Verde

INGREDIENTS
3 lbs chicken breast
1 16-oz jar green salsa
1 4-oz can diced green chilies
1/2 tbsp garlic powder
DIRECTIONS
Place chicken in crockpot, dump in the green salsa, green chilies and garlic powder.
Cover and cook on high about 4 hours (about 8 hours on low) or until chicken shreds easily.
Drain off about half the liquid, then shred the chicken. Add more salsa, if desired.
Store in airtight container in refrigerator up to a week.
TIPS
Watch the labels! Look for low sodium products, with all-natural (and pronounceable) ingredients.
