Saturday morning I joined some new friends for the Arizona Walk of Hope, and after that Tabitha and I attacked the mall ;-) It's been quite some time since we've been able to hang out and shop, and it was awesome. We shopped from lunch til dinner! ;-) Our men met us at the mall to grab a bite at the end of the night. We had a great time - a precursor to our trip.... the one leave for in....
Yesterday was food prep - trusty slow-cooker to the rescue ;-) Still fighting the rice cooker, though... argh! I did a big batch of crockpot shredded chicken, then shredded bbq beef, veggies galore, grilled steak, roasted peppers, plus the usual oatmeal baggies. The house is full of prepped food and anyone who say's "there's nothing to eat" can bite me. ;-) Laundry is done, though truth be told, I finished it at 7am this morning :-/ Whatever - it's done now.
I was craving monster salad as I packed up my cooler this morning, so here's what I came up with... Yummy, right? Let me assure you - TOTALLY yummy!
