Fuel for Today & Zombie Cupcakes - Mwaha-ha-ha-haha!

I am definitely in the Are-You-Serious phase of the diet. Reduced carbs, increased activity. Ouch. Which begs the question... Are you serious??? lol. I'm more "empty" than hungry. Actually, I think I'm too tired to be hungry. 

Our fridge in the break-room at work flooded (again), so the water is shut off in the kitchen. Lovely. This required a mid-morning run to the grocery store for bottled water. While there, I browsed the book/magazine section (just try and keep me away from the publications! lol!) and look at this little gem I found!!!

That's right! Zombie Cupcakes!!! There are some seriously clever creations in there! I can't wait to dig into it in October. Yeah, in case I didn't mention it, Halloween is my favorite holiday of the year. Christmas is 2nd, but All Hallow's Eve (aka Samhain) is my first love :-)  And, when I looked it up online to link the pic (click on the picture to view the book on Amazon), I discovered more such books! Woohoo!

Here's today's food...
Clean Eating Cooler - Chelle's food for today - Figure Competition Diet

Breakfast -  3 Zucchini Protein Muffin.
Snack: Protein shake w/1/2 cup raspberries
Lunch - 3 oz chicken breast with 1 cup
steamed asparagus, 2 oz baked sweet potato.
Snack -  1 Chicken Loaf (see recipe page), 14 raw almonds
Dinner -  3 oz chicken breast with 1 cup raw peppers. I have a baby cucumber in case I need it (free food).
Pre-bed Snack -
Protein Ice Cream.

    I just made your mini-loaves, but I substituted 93/7 ground turkey for the chicken. My kitchen smells heavenly!

  2. Awesome! Let me know how you like them! We did the big loaf for family dinner last night with mashed sweet potatoes (mixed with adobo chipotle peppers). Well, the family ate it, lol, I had fish.
    You're gonna love the book!!! :-)
