Today's Food...

I'm on the run today (no, not from the police), so this post will be brief. Hopefully, I can blog more later today.

Weekend recap... I think I traumatized Tab. I know I traumatized the produce boy (knocking over the apple display... yeah, that was me). Oops!  With our menu set (and fairly identical) our shopping lists were almost the same. I can't remember ever shopping for less than a gazillion people in the house, and she only shops for her and the hubby... our cart contents were similar, but the amounts were grossly different, haha.

Menu for the week:
Breakfasts: Oatmeal w/protein powder, cinnamon, NuttZo and a small or half-large grapefruit OR pumpkin muffins (recipe coming tomorrow!) and grapefruit.
Snacks: Plain greek yogurt & granola with fruit OR chicken muffins & fruit OR protein pudding with nut butter & fruit
Lunches: Grilled chicken breast, steamed veggies & brown rice OR grilled chicken & veggie wrap or sandwich
Dinners: Enchilasagna, Chorizo Tacos, Pizza, Chicken Sausage & Rice/Pasta with veggies (recipe coming soon), Stuffed peppers.

Food prep was completed and Tab left with a full week's worth of food that just has to be thrown together or heated up (she's in the process of moving, so simplicity was key). I'm hoping she'll post her perspective on the day :-)

Moving on to today... Food...

Breakfast: 1/2 cup dry oatmeal, 1 scoop vanilla protein powder, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 cup pumpkin with 1 tsp pumpkin pie mix, 1 Tbsp NuttZo = HEAVEN!!  plus my small grapefruit.
Snack 1: 1 cup greek yogurt (Chobani 0%) with 1/4 cup granola and 1/4 cup raspberries.
Lunch: 4 oz grilled chicken breast, steamed zucchini and half cup of brown rice.
Snack 2: chicken mini muffins and a pear.
Additional.... protein pudding with nut butter - the day is insane and I don't know when I'll get home.

So there's today's food. I'm off and running again!
