I Survived the Twi-Hards!

It was touch and go for a while, several screaming teenagers have no idea how closely they brushed with a beat-down, but I managed to survive with my sanity intact (such as it is), and without having to call Bill or Tabitha to post bond. It was crazy! I think the Twilight saga midnight premiers are like childbirth... you forget the really, really bad parts until you're smack in the middle of it again, then find yourself thinking, "WTH was I thinking to do this again???"

The theater was well prepared for us this year, and we snagged a spot inside (woot!), and next to a power outlet (double woot!). Bethany and I camped on the floor for hours (the older girls didn't get there until later - and I made them pay us in Starbucks for holding their places in line). She did the teenager with a data-plan thing and cruised facebook, while I worked on my laptop building recipe packets and meal plans. Though I didn't manage to get away to acquire WiFi, I did get all my work done. Whew!  I finished, after they moved us into the theater, at 11pm.

The movie itself... what can I say? I liked the books. LOL! The kids had a good time, though, and that's what mattered. We got home at 2:30 (that's a.m.), and I was back up at 5:30... oy!

Today is a whirlwind of To-Do's. I'm off and running!!!

PS... Attention Tabitha... I am SOOOOOOO sore!!!! :-D   Let's do that workout again!! Woot!

  1. I would like you to bottle some of that woot up and lets see if we can't get it on the market! And LOL, the things we do for our kids! Makes them better adults!

    Cheers, Wendy!
