Rollin, Rollin, Rollin....

That's my new mantra... Just Roll With It. Lol. Another busy week is in the books, and we're gearing up for more. I'm back home now, having spent much of last week in San Diego with the kids. I'll be going back on Thursday, for another week. It's great to be able to spend so much time with them, and while I wish I could do more, at least I can be there. It's tough, though, be be away from home. Sadie's been glued to my side since I got back - she's going to be pretty mad at me when I leave again, lol. And I need to prep more food for these guys here - Taco Bell is not acceptable, haha. I think they had it every day I was gone! When the cat's away...

The weekend was quiet - a lot of sleeping, lol. Though hubby and I did get to spend some quality time in our new favorite together-activity - Game of War. Hahaha! Yep, we are total geeks, but we absolutely love playing that game together. Apart from that, this week is all about getting ready to go back to California. I'm catching up on laundry, cleaning out the fridge so I can restock it for Bill and Bethy, planning meals for the kids in San Diego, planning out my travel food. I need an oil change, too. Lots of busy work.

I had Kayla this morning and got in a good workout, I'll see her again Wednesday for Pilates, then I'm on my own. The kids' complex has a decent workout room, so I'll be hitting that up on this next trip.

If you missed it on facebook, while I was in CA, I did FINALLY complete my personal trainer course and am now certified. Whew! DONE!!! Needless to say, I will not procrastinate on my continuing ed units next time, lol. But, they are going to have to wait until we get through this current journey. My focus is completely on family, and it's going to stay that way.

I've always known I'm a bit of a control freak (understatement). The greatest challenges for me are when things are out of my control. It's hard to accept, and I start looking for ways I can take control. It may be as simple as doing a load of laundry, or cooking a meal, but if that's what I can do, then you can be damn sure I'm going to do it. I wish there was more. I wish there was a way I could do something to change the situation. But... it's out of my control. So, I'll do what I can, and when there's nothing else to do, I'll simply be there. And, maybe after a few more trips, I won't get turned around in Santee/Lakeside, or in Gila Bend. Lol!

So... here's to a fresh new week, full of hope and promise. Thank you, for the encouragement you've been sending me. I deeply appreciate each comment and all the emails.
